Two weeks ago i have started to work on the third project for the TIE course. It is a group assignment and is based on a given case. My partner at this is Chris Koimtzis an IT expert with a computer literated backgound and currently working in telecommunicatons industry. The job is expected to be good since we both will combine our expertise in techonological and project management fields.
I found the concept challenging as this process will boost us to search in the paths of IT projects. I was really surprised by the fact that there is an enormously huge bibliography, cases, technical reports, real IT projects from companies, all free in the internet.
So far i have finished with the literature review and i am already in the phase of implementing.
Assignment has a start date of 23march08 and is due to 24april08.
Below i am giving the final version submitted of both the groupwork and my individual part.
I have used a number of tools, which helped me to structure my deliverables for the project. These were the following: MindManager, SmartDraw and Microsoft Project, all of them very helpful and efficient.
